The fourth annual Best Vegan Cheesesteak in Philly contest culminates in a gala event at the Ethical Society on Rittenhouse Square as current titleholder Blackbird Pizzeria takes on last year's finalist Frankie's on Fairview as well as Top Newcomer Wiz Kid, the new cheesesteak joint from Rich Landau and Kate Jacoby. Four esteemed judges sample the offerings from the three top finalists to determine this year's Best Vegan Cheesesteak in Philly. Proceedings are overseen by emcee Frank Olivieri, Jr. (owner of Pat's Steaks, where the Philly cheesesteak was originated). For attendees there will be vegan cheesesteak sampling from five top-vote-getting venues, plus snacks, sweets, prizes and surprises. This is without question The Vegan Cheesesteak Event of the Year!
